GHSP is a faith-based ministry, open to all people, to inspire hope and provide service in the St. Louis metropolitan area while fostering servant hearts in St. Louis youth and adults. We build wheelchair ramps, install grab bars, and perform minor home modifications to make homes more accessible.
After you fill out the volunteer agreement, click below to sign up for a date to build a ramp.
We provide volunteer opportunities for youth AND adults so that families and friends can pass on their passion for serving others to the next generation. We also provide opportunities for groups, clubs, and companies to serve.
Founded by St. Louisans, Darryl Stanfield and Beth Daniels, GHSP's mission is to serve people within the community. Volunteering with GHSP is also a great way to meet neighbors while working toward a common goal.
Learn invaluable home improvement skills while giving back. GHSP works with skilled professionals to build ramps and complete minor home construction projects. People from all skill levels come to teach and learn the craft of carpentry and construction.
Projects usually last one day and occur on a Saturday OR Sunday from 8 am-4 pm. Pending COVID-19 regulations-lunch is provided.
Everything! We provide all tools and safety gear needed to complete the job.
No! No experience necessary. We provide on-site training.
